Genesis 1:1-5 - This passage introduces the creation narrative, with God creating the heavens and the earth, separating light from darkness, and establishing day and night. Genesis 1:6-13 - God creates the sky, land, seas, and vegetation, each according to its kind, demonstrating His power and creativity in shaping the earth. Genesis 1:14-19 - On the fourth day, God creates the sun, moon, and stars to govern the day and night, marking the passing of time and providing light upon the earth.

Genesis 2-3 - These chapters detail the creation of Adam and Eve, their placement in the Garden of Eden, and their disobedience to God's command by eating the forbidden fruit. It includes the dialogue with the serpent, God's confrontation of Adam and Eve, and the pronouncement of consequences for their actions.

Genesis 6:9-22 - God instructs Noah to build the ark and gives him detailed specifications for its construction. Noah is also commanded to bring pairs of every kind of living creature onto the ark to preserve their species. Genesis 7:1-24 - God commands Noah and his family to enter the ark as the floodwaters come upon the earth, covering the land and destroying all living creatures outside the ark. Genesis 8:1-22 - The floodwaters recede, and the ark comes to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Genesis 9:1-17 - God establishes a covenant with Noah, promising never to flood the earth again, and provides the rainbow as a sign of this covenant.

Genesis 11:1-9 - This passage describes the story of the Tower of Babel, explaining how humanity, speaking a single language, attempted to build a city and a tower to reach the heavens. God confuses their language, causing them to scatter across the earth, and the city and the tower are left unfinished.

Genesis 12:1-9 - God calls Abram (later renamed Abraham) to leave his homeland and go to the land of Canaan, promising to make him the father of a great nation. Genesis 17:15-21 - God promises Sarah will bear a son in her old age, who will be named Isaac, and through him, God's covenant with Abraham will continue. Genesis 22:1-19 - Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac as commanded by God, and God's provision of a ram in his place, demonstrating Abraham and Isaac's faithfulness and trust in God's plan.

Genesis 25:34 - This passage highlights Esau's disdain for his birthright, which he sold to Jacob for a bowl of lentil stew, emphasizing the significance of the event in their story. Genesis 27:1-40 - Here, Rebekah helps Jacob deceive Isaac into giving him the blessing intended for Esau, showcasing the pivotal moment of deceit and the consequences that follow. Genesis 27:41-45 - Esau's reaction to Jacob's deceit is captured in this passage, as he vows to kill his brother.

Exodus 3:1-6 - This passage describes Moses' encounter with the burning bush on Mount Horeb. God calls out to Moses from the midst of the fire and instructs him to remove his sandals because he is standing on holy ground. Exodus 3:7-10 - Here, God reveals His plan to Moses, explaining that He has seen the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt and that He will deliver them from their oppression. Exodus 3:11-12 - Moses expresses his doubts and concerns about his ability to fulfill this task, but God reassures him.

Exodus 13:21-22 - "By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night." Exodus 14:19-20 - "Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them." Numbers 9:17-18 - "Whenever the cloud lifted from above the tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped."

Numbers 22-24 - These chapters narrate the story of Balaam and his donkey. They describe Balak's request for Balaam to curse the Israelites, Balaam's journey to meet Balak, the incident with the talking donkey, and Balaam's eventual blessing of the Israelites instead of cursing them. 2 Peter 2:15-16 - This passage references Balaam as an example of a false prophet who loved the wages of wickedness.

Judges 14:5-6 - Samson encounters a young lion on the road to Timnah and, empowered by the Spirit of the Lord, tears it apart with his bare hands. Judges 14:8-9 - Upon returning to the lion's carcass, Samson finds a swarm of bees and honey inside. Judges 14:12-14 - At his wedding feast, Samson presents a riddle to the Philistines based on his encounter with the lion.

Judges 16:23-30 - This passage recounts Samson's captivity by the Philistines, his blindness, and imprisonment in Gaza. It describes how the Philistines brought him to the temple of Dagon for entertainment during a great sacrifice. Samson, with the strength granted by God one last time, pushes against the temple's pillars, causing it to collapse and killing himself along with his enemies.

Ruth 1:1-22 - This passage introduces the characters and sets the stage for the story, detailing the background of Naomi, Ruth, and Orpah. Ruth 2:1-23 - Here, Ruth gleans in Boaz's field, and Boaz shows kindness to her. Ruth 3:1-18 - Naomi instructs Ruth to approach Boaz and request that he fulfill the role of kinsmen-redeemer. Ruth 4:1-22 - Boaz publicly redeems Naomi's land and marries Ruth.

1 Samuel 17:34-35 - David tells Saul how he fought off lions and bears while tending his father's sheep, rescuing lambs from their mouths and striking the beasts down when they attacked. 1 Samuel 17:36-37 - David declares that just as God delivered him from the lion and the bear, He will also deliver him from the hand of Goliath. Psalm 144:1 - A psalm of David praising God, who "trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle."

1 Samuel 16:14-23 - The Lord's Spirit departs from Saul, and David comes to play the harp to soothe Saul's troubled spirit. 1 Samuel 18:6-9 - After David's victory over Goliath, the women sing 'Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands,' causing Saul's jealousy. 1 Samuel 24:1-22 - David spares Saul's life in the cave, showing mercy to God's anointed king.

1 Kings 3:5-14 - God appears to Solomon in a dream and grants him wisdom beyond all others when he asks for discernment to govern God's people. 1 Kings 6:1-38 - The construction of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, a magnificent house for the Lord. 1 Kings 10:1-13 - The Queen of Sheba visits Solomon and is amazed by his wisdom and prosperity.

2 Kings 2:11 - "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind." 1 Kings 19:11-12 - Elijah encounters God on Mount Horeb in the gentle whisper after the wind, earthquake, and fire.

Esther 2:17 - "Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins." Esther 4:14 - "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 7:3-6 - Esther reveals Haman's plot to destroy the Jews.

Job 1:21 - "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised." Job 19:25 - "I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth." Job 42:10 - "After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before."

Daniel 6:1-28 - Daniel was a faithful Jewish exile who rose to high position in the Persian Empire. When jealous officials conspired against him through his religion, they convinced King Darius to issue a decree that anyone who prayed to any god except the king would be thrown into the lions' den. Despite knowing the law, Daniel continued praying toward Jerusalem three times daily. When caught and reported, the reluctant king was forced to throw Daniel into the den. God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths, and Daniel emerged unharmed, demonstrating that faithfulness to God can overcome impossible odds.

Jonah 1:17 - "Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights." Jonah 2:1-2 - "From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. He said: 'In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me.'" Jonah 2:10 - "And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land."

Luke 2:7 - "And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them." Matthew 1:23 - "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). Luke 2:10-11 - "But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'"

Matthew 3:13-17 - Jesus comes to John to be baptized in the Jordan River. Though John protests, saying he needs to be baptized by Jesus, Jesus insists to 'fulfill all righteousness.' As Jesus comes up from the water, the heavens open, the Spirit of God descends like a dove, and the Father's voice declares, 'This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.' This baptism marks the beginning of Jesus' public ministry and reveals the Trinity.

Matthew 5-7 - Jesus delivers His most comprehensive teaching on Kingdom of Heaven principles to His disciples and a large crowd on a mountainside in Galilee. The sermon begins with the Beatitudes and covers topics such as anger, adultery, retaliation, love for enemies, the Lord's Prayer, treasures in heaven, worry about material needs, judging others, and the Golden Rule. Jesus concludes with the parable of the wise and foolish builders, emphasizing that those who hear and practice His words build on a solid foundation.

Mark 5:1-20, Matthew 8:28-34, Luke 8:26-39 - In the region of the Gerasenes, Jesus encountered a man possessed by many demons calling themselves 'Legion.' When Jesus commanded the unclean spirits to come out, they begged to be sent into a nearby herd of about two thousand pigs feeding on the hillside. Jesus granted permission, and the demons entered the swine, which immediately rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned. This miracle demonstrated Jesus' absolute authority over demonic forces and brought complete deliverance to the tormented man.

John 3:1-21 - Nicodemus, a Pharisee and member of the Jewish ruling council, came to Jesus at night to learn about His teachings. Jesus told him, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.' When Nicodemus questioned how this could be, Jesus explained spiritual rebirth through the Holy Spirit. Jesus spoke the famous words: 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'

Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:19-20 - During the Passover meal with His disciples, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them saying, 'This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.' He then took the cup saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.' This established the sacrament of communion and marked Jesus' final meal with His disciples before His crucifixion.

Matthew 27:54 - "When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, 'Truly this was the Son of God!'" Mark 15:39 - The centurion's declaration at the cross. Luke 23:47 - The centurion praises God and declares Jesus innocent.

Matthew 28:5-6 - "The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.'" Luke 24:6-7 - "He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'"

Acts 1:9 - "After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight." Luke 24:50-51 - "When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven."

Acts 9:3-6 - "As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?' 'Who are you, Lord?' Saul asked. 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,' he replied." Acts 9:17-18 - Ananias restores Saul's sight and baptizes him.
